🚀 Your role:

Lendorse helps talented students from developing countries finance their education through their future salaries and land their dream roles. As we scale and deepen our understanding of the markets we serve, we’re looking for a Data Research & Analysis Intern to spearhead our data collection efforts and contribute to improving our underwriting models and crystallising our value proposition. You’ll play a key role in shaping the data foundation for our market research and underwriting models, working closely with a senior team to design and implement data collection strategies.

• Design and organise data collection efforts, including surveys, interviews, and other methodologies, to gather the necessary insights for our market research and underwriting models
• Collaborate with the senior team to identify data needs and translate them into actionable collection plans
• Manage and execute data collection projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality and reliable data
• Analyse collected data and prepare summaries and reports for internal use and decision-making
• Assist in refining and improving our data collection processes and methodologies over time
• Support the integration of collected data into our credit scoring and predictive models

💪 You’re skilled in the below:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sociology or other quantitative social sciences, Marketing (focus on Market Research), Behavioural Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience in data collection methodologies and market/user research, including designing and conducting surveys and interviews
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and basic data processing tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Python, or R)
• Bonus if you have exposure to working in startups or fast-paced environments
