Job Description
Lendorse helps talented students from developing countries finance their education through their future salary and land their dream role. With our rapid expansion on the horizon and increasing student demand, we’re looking for an experienced, part-time Structured Finance Lead to join our senior management team. With your strong financial modelling skills, you will own our financial model, and will help us secure a line of credit to meet out student demand for Income Share Agreements.
Responsibilities
- Owning our financial model, including reviewing our current model and suggesting changes
- Advising the CEO on the structure and availability of financing options for Lendorse's ISA program, and securing this debt with an institutional debt provider or through EU government funding
- Structuring portfolio analytics and credit risk management procedures
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of financial products, including institutional debt products, and the ability to structure these products to meet the needs of our ISA program
- Strong technical finance and financial modelling skills, including calculating net interest margins, unit economics, cohort modelling etc.
- History of exposure to capital markets and knowledge of funding options available through the German government and within the EU
- Excellent analytical and financial problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build, negotiate with & maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Ideally 5+ years experience in a similar financial modelling / finance role with capital markets exposure and a proven track record of success in obtaining debt
